About Me
I'm Linda from Venice, Italy. I am actually doing a one year master in Atlanta as exchange student in international business. I love to meet lots of different people and share different cultures.
Traveling is my passion! I like meeting new people, trying new things, exploring new places. I've visited all Spain staying in hostels because they were really cheap and I've met a lot of people all over the world, and they told me they used couchsurfing a lot. That's why I am here, I hope to have some amazing local experience soon starting in the US.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Mainly surfing couches or meeting up for drinks as I am travelling right now, but when I'm home my couch will be open!
Music, Movies, and Books
I am open to basically EVERY kind of music..I do love latin music as I've done a 4 month internship in Spain and I had a lot of fun dancing it (well..honestly I'm about to be enrolled in a Salsa class soon to be a better dancer). Furthermore, I used to work in a club as a bartender, and I was used to listen techno music.
But...I can say that when my granfather was still alive we used to listen together some classic Italian music and we used to go to the "Fenice Theatre" in Venice, near where I live.
One of my favourite books is the Old Man and the Sea by Hernest Hemingway.
Regarding movies...I love drama and comedy movies, but I can basically watch everithing (except horror, that I don't like).
Teach, Learn, Share
I try to meet wonderful people every day because I believe it's the key of happiness. I cannot imagine my life without good friends. Somethimes I find myself in the company of foreign people because we have some common stories, even if from different background. That's why I find it exciting meeting new people.
I love art and I've studied it for 5 years when I was at the high school. But to me everything can basically be art (also a good cocktail well prepared or a plate of lasagne..you know =) Italy)...as long as you can feel love in what you are seeing and making.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking! And I think I am not a bad cooker at all..!!! During my erasmus experiences in Valencia, Montpellier and Tallinn I used to cook a lot for my roomates and friends because for me it is a real pleasure. I love to cook Italian food but I can basically cook everithing, especially eat...!! =)
