About Me
Hey :) I am Linda from Germany and since I was an Au Pair in the US for a year I discovered traveling as the greatest enrichment of life. I always loved to travel but even more since I was traveling all over the USA. If I could I would love to see every single spot in this world.
Other than that I am a very easy going and polite person and I like to spend my free time with friends and family.
Additionally I like it clean. according to couchsurfing I treat someone's "couch" respectfully and take it for granted to leave the place clean.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because so far I had amazing experiences.
My first Couchsurfing experience was in Washington DC with 2 other Au Pairs. We had a great time and our host Desmond was not complicated at all. So we decided to keep looking for couches rather than hostels during our travel-time in the US. The next Couch was in LA and as for our host Mohammed I want to say that he was such a fun and tolerant person, it was sort of sad leaving the place. A couple of more hosts followed, equally great. Some I still follow on facebook or could recommend to friends.
I think that is exactly what makes the difference to common hostages. During my stays I did not just get to now a new place but I experienced the place from a non touristic perspective (does that word even exist!?).
One of the greatest experiences I had in Rome. Alessandro showed me and my friend Caro the City in such a great way. We went partying with his friends, got to try homemade pesto and felt more like visiting a friend than a stranger. Thanks for this awesome time!
