About Me

ABOUT ME

I guess, although I have some attributes of being homy (I very much like to sit inside with a cup of tea in winter, I love to cook and light some candles), I also love to travel and meet people from all over the world. Me and my boyfriend (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/jeroen.wedding) just came back from a trip through Europe and Asia. Now we're back in Berlin and would love to give back some of the amazing experiences, we had with couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you're in the city, maybe we could meet up, or if we have space and time, you could stay on our couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing travel (either through this website or without) were the best travel experiences I had. It's a great way to learn something about the place you're visiting. I also think, it feels a bit more like visiting friends, and therefore I felt more welcome when visiting a city via couchsurfing. It was also a great platform for me when moving to other countries. When I was living in Madrid, I met some beautiful people via couchsurfing, some of whom I'm still in contact with. Also when my boyfriend and me moved to Copenhagen, it helped a lot that we could stay with a couchsurfing host for the first couple of days. I also very much like having guests around. As mentioned above, I think this can be a bit like exploring the world from your own couch and so far I only had positive experiences either via this platform or by hosting friends of friends.

Interests

I can catch interest in basically anything. But to be more specific :-) At the moment I like to read about positive psychology. I think it's an interesting field in psychology focusing more on ressources than on disfunctions. I also love to read, to go to the theatre, to do cycling tours around Berlin, to swim in the lakes around Berlin (not in winter, but summer will come again!), to attend small concerts, to go to bars, to walk, to make music (vocals, piano, a bit guitar and accordeon).

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you a little bit guitar and a bit more piano. Even more I like to learn to play guitar better. But we could try together! We can also discuss some hot issues in Psychology, which I studied.

What I Can Share with Hosts

It would be great, to share some time, if you feel like it. I love cooking!
