About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Being an ambassador of this beautiful island in a meaningful and positive way, sharing our culture, our history and who we really are, and at the same time get to know people and cultures from around the world.

ABOUT ME

I'm a lover of the arts, a good cup of coffee and meaningful conversations. I'm passionate about creative processes... painting, cooking, writing, taking photos of nature and architecture, traveling, good poems, laughs, warm and tight hugs, and live every moment in consciousness. One of my favorites things to do is to watch sunsets and see the sun rising in the morning... I'm honest, sensible and a believer of living in integrity. I respect the earth and every alive being. Open to the possibilities of life and always looking for the lessons behind every experience.

PHILOSOPHY

We are One...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By sharing information, a walk around the Old City, a good conversation, a cup of coffee, a poem or a meal...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The experience with CS is always an enriching one that brings knowledge, happiness and kindness to my soul. Be a part of this community teach me that no matter the nationality or the country, the language, the age, the race, the color, the culture or the religion, we are all the same, just humans beings with a desire of sharing and be part of a better world and something meaningful. CS is not only a group to hang out, is an opportunity to learn and exchange ideas, knowledge and make friend! In 2010 I had a blast with a group who came from US, we shared one night in a full moon drum circle dancing with the fire, we also walked the streets of Old San Juan and traveled around the island... and we also did art together!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite books are about art, philosophy and physics... some good ones are "Las Voces Del Desierto", "The Tao Te Ching", "The Way of Bodhisattva", "The Art of Happiness" and "The Book of Secrets".

Classical music is my favorites... but I do also like jazz, blues, world music, gregorian chants and Frank Sinatra!

About movies, documentaries and sci-fi are the first options... good comedies, dramas and romantic tales are also included! Some of my favorites are "The Schindler List", "The Matrix Saga", "The Lord of the Ring Saga", "Under The Tuscan Sun", "The Notebook", "Meet Joe Black" and "The Tree of Life".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walk the "Camino de Santiago" and see the sunset sitting on a cliff at "Finisterra"... the "end of the Earth"! Another amazing thing I have done is staying at the Oceti Sakowin direct action camp at the Dakota Sioux Reservation in North Dakota , and as a Water Protector support the activities of resistance and social activism related to the construction of the Dakota Access Pipiline (#NoDAPL).

Teach, Learn, Share

If we meet is because there is something that I have to learn and maybe you have something to learn too... I believe every person I meet is for a reason... We can share poetry, music, a meaningful conversation, a good meal, a cup of coffee, a walk around the Old City, joy and creativity.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with you information about Puerto Rico, i.e. places to go, restaurants and areas of interest... also a good conversation, a meal, a cup of coffee, a poem, a walk around the city and laughs!
