ABOUT ME
I grew up in Oslo, the capital of Norway - but still a very small city with nature and a beautiful fjord surrounding it.. As soon as I finished high school I went to Italy; I wanted to experience the opposite thing of what I was used to see and think. In the amazing student city Bologna I found a really warm and breathtaking way of living life... After some amazing student years in Bolo I finished my university degree and last year I worked as an intern at the Norwegian Embassy in Rome together with more work experience in green and blue summer days in Oslo.
However, I couldn't resist Bologna and since September I am now back as a student enrolled in a master degree in Cultural Management.
Besides my love for Italian culture I'm also a traveller, next to travels and roadtrips across Europe, I've also lived half a year in New Zealand. Here I found a new definition of what epic nature could be; everything together with amazing people.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is how you make it!
--And you would NOT find your key of life in a Paolo Coelho book--
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately it is not possible for me to host anyone in my already crowded student flat, but I'm always in for meeting up for coffee or also, be a guide showing the 'seven segrets' of Bologna!:)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've done some surfing both in Europe and Overseas. All experiences have been really great! Like one night in Budapest we lived in a small flat in the top floor with a charming open-minded lady. In the morning for breakfast we went up on the roof from her apartment and had a stunning view over the whole city. It's something I would remember for some time and of course... her crazy cat that kept us awake in the morning:p
Otherwise when I travelled in Australia I met an amazing girl in the Gold Coast that hosted me for one night. Later she invited me for a road trip to Sydney that was crazy!:)
In New Zealand I did some hitchhiking with a friend to North Cape and on the way back we stayed at a lovely girl's place. She had been travelling all around the word and shared so many stories from her previous hippie life.
Interests
travel (obviously), meet people, philosophy, do spontaneous things, studying (those subjects I really like), discuss whatever there is between earth and heaven, just enjoy the moment with a big m, get outside in the nature, if there's one topic I never can get enough of it's CULTURE (in all its aspects, from antropology to festivals)!
