About Me

ABOUT ME

I love to laugh, I love to love and I love to share my dreams, passion and laughter with other people. I DO believe, that happiness is a choice and that you can be who you want to be.
So I WANT TO BE ... positive. outgoing. tolerant. pleased. loud. happy. curious.

PHILOSOPHY

Open your mind, arms and heart to new things and people. We are united in our differences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When surfing other people's couches I try my best to be asking for as little as I possibly can but to return as much as possible. I appreciate any effort by hosts so much that I always show my gratitude in one way or another (little prezzies, food, beverages or a home cooked meal). :)

We are a flat of four and our landlords aren't exactly happy when we have people over all the time - so I try cut it down a bit. ;) Therefore, hostings may or may not happen depending on how much you show me you actually wanna meet me/us and not just stay somewhere for free. Please also include a little Hakuna Matata into your message, to show you've read through this essay. :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Guitar music, definitely! Country, singer/ songwriter kinda thing, Mumford & Sons, Ed Sheeran, and all the old stuff from the 80s and 90s which is so much fun when going out!
I used to love Disney movies and I think I still do haha. Other than that - all the romance/comedy type of stuff for an easy night in or things like 'Shawshank Redemption', 'Inside Man', 'Prison Break' (god I love this show!), Suits and such.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* living in NZ - celebrating half birthdays, drinking Giessen Riesling, snowboarding in Queenstown, hiking Abel Tasman and Kepler, ...
* living in Australia - cuddling kangaroos, busking in Brissy, sweating my bum off, enjoying the freedom, New Year's Eve in Sydney
* living in France at the age of 16 - eating cheese, making friends, being a teenager that starts to appreciate the small things ;)
* living in Taiwan during an exchange semester - spending my days jumping from waterfalls, eating beef noodles and experiencing a whole different university style.
* Sky Diving in the beautiful 'Erzgebirge' landscape
* Oh and of course I've seen plenty of SHOOTING STARS in the past 26 years and still love them!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well... I do a lot of baking and I play the guitar, might be something interesting for you. If it's not, there's still SO MUCH you could teach me, I'm sure!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking together - coz seriously, who's not into good food?! ... Of course I clean after myself and pride myself in being good fun to hang out with - at least that's what I hope haha. I did go out drinking and dancing with former Couchsurfers a couple of times, played soccer, had movie nights and tried the weirdest food with some of them. I much appreciated all of these moments and I can't wait to add another couple of awesome memories to them.
