I love travelling! I'm not verified because I don't have a credit card or paypal account :( I study math and do not feel like an adult at all... which explains not having a credit card or paypal account. I have an immense passion for travelling and exploring; for taking in the world. Those moments when a view takes your breath away and makes everything else in the world fade away for a bit is what I adore when travelling. And learning about the places and the people who live there. I also love art (drawing/painting/photography/film) and the intricacies and complexities of life. I love a good deep conversation. I have many flaws as a person, but I'd like to think that the good out weigh the bad, and that all the bad things in life also help form who I am.
I'm not here for a free place to stay or hookups, I want to meet new people and explore new places :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a student and person with very little money to my name, I like low-cost trips, so couch surfing seems like a good option.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: anything from 60's pop, to 80's rock, to Disney and Musicals.
Movies: ummm... there are too many to choose from. I mean I like Harry Potter, LOTR, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean those saga's, but obviously there are many more! The Green Mile, Forrest Gump (and some other Tom Hanks films), Good Will Hunting, The Lion King (and almost all Disney films!), Toy Story (also pretty much all Disney-Pixars!!!), as maybe less critically acclaimed films, I've been a fan of Pride and Unbroken. Also '71, which (along with Unbroken) stars Jack O'Connell. I like films. And I have a long list of films that I still have to watch, and I'm open to more suggestions to expand said list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First solo trip! It was the first time I flew and I did it alone. And I went from visiting my brother in Munich to going to Prague alone. There is something wonderful about travelling alone and it's something I would like to do way more of.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm pretty open. Though I may not have many skills (aside from making one mean batch of brownies), I can be very open about me and my life. I love to share thoughts; I find that listening to peoples' stories teaches me a lot.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Other than hopefully interesting conversation, I have a tendency to bring along Stroopwafels (classic dutch waffle and caramel biscuit-y type thing) for people :p
