About Me

Fun, spontaneous Peruvian-American girl! Im a lady with many passions! I went from working as a Registered Nurse in Orlando, FL to teaching english for 2 years in Madrid, Spain to now currently pursing my Master's degree in Professional Photography in Madrid! I try to live life to the fullest and have new experiences! I am an open person, fun, caring, goofy, talkative, adventurous and enjoy the company of good friendly people. I have been traveling all around Europe (for over 9 years), South America, Asia and East/West coast area of USA. As you can see, I love to travel! It's so eye opening and wonderful to learn about different cultures! So many places to explore and great people to meet in this world. I am on a mission of self discovery and finding my passions in life. I hope through couchsurfing and traveling in general I can meet many people in this world to help me by sharing their perspectives, and life experiences with me :)
I enjoy taking people out and showing them a great time! I used to live in a great spot in downtown Orlando and loved it! I'm actually living in the city center of Madrid now so if you host me, I always will welcome you to my flat with open arms! I love my apt so much and would like to spread my blessings with you all. I live in a one bedroom loft in the heart of Sol, Madrid, Spain. As much as I love the states, i've definitely fallen in love with Europe and excited for many new adventures to come! :) I've been living in Spain for almost 3 years now. The adventures continue I must say :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At first I was reluctant about coach surfing, but i decided to not be prejudice/stereotypical and tried it for my first time about 9 years ago in Pisa, Italy! I had such a great time and met awesome hosts that took me a friend out and showed us nightlife. I am so appreciative of the experiences I've had. Out of the 9 years I've been couchsurfing, not once have i had a bad or creepy experience. I would like to give back and show others a great time as they've done to me :)

Interests

I love the beach (hence why I used to live in florida), going out and having fun! I love seeing new places and meeting new people. I used to play volleyball nationally (i play in a league in Madrid now), football and tennis at Varsity Level in HS. I still enjoy playing sports any chance I get. I'm pretty sure I can throw a football 2 house lengths (more than my older brother can ahahaha) I like to walk along the lakes and parks around Orlando, eating/drinking out and going to theme parks! I'm a huge adrenaline junkie. Name a rollercoaster, I've probably ridden it) haha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I skydived at 13,000 feet when I turned 18 then did it 15,000 ft over the beach in FL at age 23, traveled all around Europe for over 9 years, rode 4 of the world's fastest and tallest rollercoasters, visited 5 out of 7 continents so far, paraglided in Larcomar over Lima, Peru, bungee jumped in Interlaken, Switzerland from a gondola, hiked the highest volcano in Spain called Mount Teide, swam in front of Volcano Mt. Sakurajima and it erupted 4 days later, snow boarded in the Matterhorn in Swiss Alps ---- yep, im an adrenaline junkie lol

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn. I try to learn something new everyday! I am a registered nurse in the states and used to work with mothers and babies! I loved caring for them and being a part of the most important day of their life. I used to be an English teacher for Physical Education and Science in a Bilingual Secondary Education school and absolutely loved my students! They always find a way to make me laugh and feel like a little kid again :) Now I'm studying a Master's in Photography.

Through couchsurfing, i wanna share life experiences, get inspired from stories, laugh and learn about different cultures. Share and learn languages, songs, sports, games, meals and dance! :)
