I am a graduated biologist and nature conservationist with a passion for sustainability education. I am open, interested and active and I enjoy having people around. The weather can always make me happy and you will see me in my best mood with a nice sunshine or a thick layer of snow!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I really like idea behind couchsurfing! Opening up your house to other people when at home, and being able to find local hosts when traveling.

As a host, we really enjoy having people from different cultures in the house. You can make us very happy by showing traditions or cooking local dishes from your region!

As a surfer, it simply adds to our travel experiences. We usually surf a few times each trip, which gives us the chance to meet local people and learn about the country more in depth.

And finally, I don't like big all inclusive hotel chains. There is so much place for travelers in peoples houses, if we would just open up for it.

Intereses

I love to be outside in nature, especially when there is mountains, or forests, or water, or all of the above. And doing sports outside is even better. I am a tennis player that loves sailing, swimming, surfing, scuba diving, climbing, cycling, running, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, etc. Doing all of this while traveling, that's the best!

But currently I am predominantly getting used to my working life and I secretly enjoying that as well... So feel free to start a conversation about how to save the earth. Or any other interesting topic of your choice :)

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Couchsurfing should be a win-win situation, for both the surfer and the host. Next to being myself and sharing time and experiences, I always try to do something extra for the host. If you like, I can cook you a nice vegetarian meal :)
