About Me
About hosting:
All are welcome, we can host quite a few people. But it should always be negotiated with my housemates, especially on weekends. So please message me well before arrival in order to make something work for all of us. (at least 3 days. preferably longer)
Actually about me:
I'm a passionate traveler whose first big trip was through Mexico and Central-America in 2017. On this trip I've been hosted by a few very nice people, yet through someone else's account; the other way around I've hosted people through my flatmate's account, so I have experience with CS, although my account may make it seem otherwise.
I'm a student in French and Spanish language in University; I specialize in linguistics. I live with two really friendly housemates who also sometimes host. We share our communal spaces, like the bathroom and the kitchen.
Some of my passions include performing poetry, percussion (mainly djembé), theatre, dancing and cooking. I love to cook together with my guests!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I suppose my eagerness to learn is one of the reasons I'm here. I love to get to know new people and learn from them and their stories. Also traveling taught me the value in Sharing, especially when it involves essentials like a roof over the head, some food or a good laugh.
Besides that I like to pay forward what others have done for me and hopefully someone will do again in the future.
Please note I do NOT accept friend requests that are unaccompanied by a personal message. Guys, this is NOT a DATING site.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music-wise I am very broad. I can appreciate many musical genres (from jazz, to rock, to classical music, to punk ; ska; I love latin, especially cumbia) but my personal go-to genres evolve around Dub and reggae. Lately, thanks to my lovely drum, I've also been involved more and more with African oriented music.
I love poetry and storytelling in general. I am a performing poet with much experience in theatre. I also love reading about philosophy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My trip to Iceland in 2016 was absolutely a great experience, especially Thingvellir national park, with her thermal rivers and hotsprings, was very impressive.
But the most impressive hike I've done, was in Guatemala. Acatenango is a 6-hour up, 4-hour down vulcano hike, which is incredibly heavy; but truly amazing. El Salvador's landscapes and the Costa Rican jungle also impressed me deeply.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a language and theatre enthusiast. I'm studying to become a teacher of French and I'm also learning Spanish. So we can exchange some language practise for sure!
I also have a passion for cooking, so we can also share food! And music!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook for you, though cooking together is more fun! I'm not a shy person with quite a story to tell, so if you want to hear it, sit down with me for tea and let me share. :)
