ABOUT ME

33 years old. Currently living in Deventer while finishing my residency to become a gynecologist.
I really enjoy travelling, so far I've mostly been to Africa. I just love Africa, in particular Uganda, my home away from home.

PHILOSOPHY
Travel as much as possible!

Travelling most definitely makes me a better person, a better version of myself. Not that the home version of me isn't good:)
Back home we're always busy; running from one appointment to the next, working our asses of for the best carreer. And while doing that, we sometimes forget to enjoy the moment. Travelling makes me relaxed and smile all the time. It makes me see things in perspective and enjoy the little, but the most beautiful things, in life. It makes me feel alive. Love it!

And, i strongly believe, that when you're afraid of something, you should just do it. Best way to have great new experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In one word, amazing! Never met so many openminded, welcoming people in such a short period of time. I would recommend it to everybody, because it makes your travel so much more fun!

Interests

Too many interests to mention all. But mostly medicin (biggest part of my daily life nowadays), music & dancing, traveling, meeting new people and reading a good book once in a while.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many amazing things so far. But most definitely delivering babies in Africa is one of the best. And i guess the baby in the bucket is the best out of all deliveries. African babies' are very very cute :)
