About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet the world!

ABOUT ME

I am an easy-going, positive person who enjoy just about anything. I have an outgoing personality, but I also enjoy quiet moments when I can just sit back and relax. I love experiencing new things and meeting new people. I like sharing my stories, but I am also a great listener. I travel through teaching Chinese.

PHILOSOPHY

"I am a part of all that I have met;
Yet all experience is an arch wherethrough
Gleams that untraveled world whose margin fades
Forever and forever when I move."

--Alfred, Lord Tennyson

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like sharing what I have. I feel happy when people around me are happy. One of my favorite things to see are heartfelt smiles. :) So I treat visitors like my friends and friends like my family. I respect and appreciate others as who they are, because that is how I'd like to be treated.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have had some CS experiences in Canada and the States. Back in Taiwan, I have hosted travellers from Netherlands, Japan, Macao and Canada, and I enjoy each of my hosting experiences.

Interests

I fell in love with mouth harp in Summer 2017. From there began my adventure tracing mouth harp culture all over the world. Mouth harp also opened a door to Khoomii (Mongolian throat singing), druming, beatbox, flute and a whole new world to me. It literally changed my life.

In addition to mouth harp, I also enjoy reading, watching movie, being in Nature, and art.

The Hours

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a summer on an small island working as a sea turtle conservation volunteer. Swimming with baby sea turtles while releasing them into the ocean was one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced. And every sunrise was breathtaking. That was a heavenly island. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach Mandarin or practice English with my hosts. Everyone interested is welcome to (carefully and respectfully) play with my mouth harp collection and learn more about them. I can also make Taiwanese dishes and information of places I have been to.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Netherlands, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Swaziland, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
