I just want to travel as much as possible and never forget that spending money on travel is investing in memories that will be with me forever.

ABOUT ME

Well, my name is Lindsay and I am just a mid-twenties traveler. Like a lot of other people out there in the world, I am trying to find my slice of life and having a fun time searching. I love to travel and I love meeting new people. I do travel to see the architecture, taste the food, etc., but meeting new people and seeing old friends is really what it is all about for me. Oh and I love shiny things. I mean, let's be real, who doesn't like some twinkle lights!?

PHILOSOPHY

Inspiration does not come naturally. It is in doing that someone figures out what they really want. Without testing the water, you can't know if you want to get in :).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was able to do a lot of couchsurfing during a backpacking trip around Europe this past year. I met some amazing people and had some experiences that I would never have had, if I hadn't joined this community!

Interests

I like movies, reading, running, dancing, French, etc.. I also enjoy music and going out with my friends. Eating is also one of my favorite pastimes and I like to think that I am pretty good at it :).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been snorkeling, white water rafting, zip-lining, salsa dancing, kayaking, hiking, etc. (not to say I do any of them well) and I just want to do more.

One particularly amazing thing that I have done, by my standards, would be singing in front of a classroom full of people. Haha, that was scary!

Teach, Learn, Share

Let's see, I have learned some French in my day, so that might be useful. I have a very basic knowledge of the guitar, so it might be fun to practice with someone else. I used to work in a flower shop, so I can make you a bouttaniere or corsage for your fancy date (although your date might think you are a bit strange). I make hemp bracelets and I can make a frame out of paper! I guess I watch too many DIY youtube videos :). Also, there are these amazing creations called peanut butter balls that are so awesome, but I try not to make them too much because then I eat them all. I am also generally optimistic and nice, so, hopefully I can infect others with kindness, haha. Also, I am unusually tall for a girl, so I can help you reach those hard to reach items on the top shelf ;). Oh, and one last thing: I can recite all the lines to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song. Sooo, it seems with all of these combined, we could have a really fun time :).

I would love to learn how to cook! I am really interested in just about anything someone can teach me.
