Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Years ago I went to a couchsurfing meetup in Amsterdam, it was my first time out of the country and I met some incredible people who gave me great advice for the rest of my trip and showed me places I never would have seen on my own. I try to get out of the US once a year for a few weeks and immerse myself in another culture. I love to meet locals and people from other countries. I can always use some good company while traveling. I usually try to get out of cities a few times during my vacation to see some nature.
