Hi everybody,

I'm a 26 years old girl, doing a PhD in space science. This job make me travel a lot in the world and I enjoy it. I also like playing guitar, even though I don't have much time to do so now, my PhD takes a lot of time. I enjoy running, I run a lot actually, and I did a marathon this year, which was really a great experience.

What could I say...Oh I have a little brother too. My family matters a lot to me, it's important to stay bounded to them so, even if I live in Liege now (which is about 100 km from home), I go back home every week-end

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my PhD, I travelled a lot for work and I didn't really had the time to visit the places where I was. Now, I would like to see those places, to see the people there and to interact with them. I am not interesting in "all inclusive" hotel. I prefer walking all the day with my back-pack and bound with local. Furthermore, I am a student, so I don't have much money to spend in expensive hotels.

I am used to airbnb, I used it a lot, especially in the US, and now in France. But each time I want to use airbnb, I look for a room in the house of the host, or a shared location. SO some friends of mine told me "hey you know, there is couch surfing now, you stay WITH the locals". This is why I am here. During my PhD I met a lot of people from a lot of different cultures and it was a so great experience that I would like to do that also during my leisure time

Interests

I'm interested in a lot of sports. I'm running, swimming, I do aikido, judo, vovinam viet vo dao,...
Furthermore, ...I love stars ;-) my PhD is also my passion, I could talk for hours about exoplanets, stars, stellars systems, ... If you want to know more about that, I'd be glad to tell you

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To me, I guess it's just "to start living trully". I'm young, but I experienced a lot already and the fact that I realized it and start living trully, simply but by loving everything single moment in my life is, I guess, an amazing thing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am belgian, so I could share the belgian way of living with hosts. It's about enjoying good food, I love cooking and I will be glad to cook for hosts. It's about enjoying good beers, which I'd be glad to share with them too :)
