Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very new at this but love it so far. I am definitely open to hosting people in Tulsa, although Oklahoma is not so much the hot travel location, unless your into the whole off the beaten path thing or maybe just passing through.

Interests

Traveling, meeting new people, and experiencing new things! I also enjoy hanging out with friends, parties, volunteering, a good book or movie, cooking- although I am not especially great at it, skiing, taking pictures, and working out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked at a UN refugee camp in Thailand for displaced Burmese children- their resilience and love despite their circumstances was truly empowering.

Seeing Europe for the first time almost ten years ago was incredible. I remember taking in all the little (and big) differences in people, places, and culture.

One of my favorite travel moments was missing a flight in the Czech Republic after my friend's passport was stolen. What I thought would be chaos ended in crazy fun. We met awesome people, slept on floors and couches, and went to more pubs than I can remember before the US consulate even opened their doors on Monday.
