ABOUT ME

I'm a mother of two fantastic kids, living in downtown Indianapolis. I work full-time in state government in the Indiana Statehouse, and I love what I do. I haven't had much time for travel in quite some time, but now that my kids are getting older, I am looking for more opportunities to satisfy my wanderlust.

PHILOSOPHY

For me, I live my life for the hope that all will not be in vain. Luckily enough, in my experience, I have found little in life to be completely irrelevant to some piece of the big picture. One of my life's mantras is to do one thing every day that scares me; this scary agenda includes anything from making friends in a new environment to stomping through the creeks on privately owned land without my pants (both of which I have accomplished). My belief in karma is rampant, and this allows me to accept what is dealt to me with a little more dignity. I try to drink life to the lees, not take anything for granted, and spread as much good as I can in the world!
