HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started seriously couchsurfing in 2010, and now, in 2018, I have couchsurfed in 9 countries and hosted a handful of people. When I lived in NYC 2012-2015, I met up with CSers here and there. Now I moved back to my home town, bought a house, and have a guest room to host. Please read my profile before sending me a request!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really enjoy CS and see it more as a way to meet people native to the country that I'm visiting, rather than just to find a free place to stay (that's a nice perk though). It's a great learning tool and a great way to get to know people, their country, and their hospitality better so than staying at a hostel.

Climbing through the caves in Cappadoccia, getting poured on for five days straight in Costa Rica, hiking into Parque Tayrona (Columbia), South Africa for the World Cup, snowboarding in the Himalayas and meeting so many amazing couchsurfers.
