About Me
Greetings! My name is Lindsey. My husband and I live up in gold country with our two fur babies. We are both sincere, friendly nerds that love to cook and make art. I’ve been introduced to the community by one of my good friends and am hoping to give back by hosting some spirited adventurers someday. Our place is a nice spot to park on the way to Tahoe for a little bit of offbeat California fun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been jokingly described as Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast.. I simply love to host people! Whether it is sharing a delicious meal at home together, exploring the local farmers markets, tubing down the river, or venturing all over the hills in search of lost treasure (got the maps and everything), I’m always up to something around here!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I won a giant stuffed swan from a poetry contest once. Its plastic gaze still haunts me to this day..
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you very practical life skills, such as how to de-escalate a Klingon conflict (useful for all those Klingons who simply have no honor these days..).
Seriously though, my husband is a huge history buff and great cook, so there’s that.
I can teach some photography fundamentals and fun facts about the surrounding area. Depends on what wants to be learned.
Countries I’ve Visited
Chile, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Sweden, United Kingdom, Virgin Islands, British
