Hi! I'm Lindsey and I am 22 years old. I'm currently working as an Au Pair in Berlin, Germany for a year (until July 2019) and trying to figure out what my steps will be after that - it's a process. I am from the East Coast of the USA, where I grew up and went to College until this past May.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I'm a short-term European dweller, I'm trying to see as much of this continent as I can before needing to cross back over the pond. I see no better way to do that than to stay with people who know and love the places they live (and maybe save a little bit of money doing so). I also see CouchSurfing as a great way to meet people from different places and swap some stories over a cold one.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've managed to learn more German than I ever would have imagined, so I can definitely teach you how to count to ten ;)

But really, I'd be happy to swap stories and tell you some Berlin history if you'd like. I really enjoy drinking coffee and good beer, so I think that's always a good place to start a conversation :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a few good stories, but mostly I just hope to be respectful of the space I'm occupying and the people who are generous to let me do so. Maybe as I become a more experienced surfer I will have more to offer, but for now I am a humble conversationalist :)
