About Me
Greetings humans! There are many things I love in this world and adventuring is on the top of my list. I'm originally from the US but I've been living in Italy for the past 2 years for work. When I'm not exploring new places, my soul is happiest singing/songwriting, being outside, dancing, and meeting new people who have an interesting story to share.
I'm am a total extrovert with an exceptionally high energy level and optimistic view! Known for starting late-night dance parties and making up (usually) fun drinking games. Also known for late-night philosophy discussions. A Jackie-of-all-trades, if you will.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've couch surfed in the past (back in 2012 but I forgot my password and had to make a new account - hence my lack of a record on here) I had a really positive experience with it and I think there are fascinating people all over the world and this is a great opportunity to meet people I wouldn't have otherwise. I’m definitely pretty new to couch surfing specifically but I’ve spent the last 10 years traveling through hostels, homestays, home exchanges, and communal living so I’m experienced with the concept. For me, if we can sit down and chat about life with a good beer or glass of wine and respect each other, I'm content!
Being a musician, I'm especially interested in meeting up with other artists/musicians around the world. Show me your favorite music and tell me about it!
Here's my youtube channel for anyone that's interested:

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a folk/classic rock lover but I'll listen to anything! I currently work for an opera singer and I've been in a cappella groups, punk rock cover bands, performed in theater productions, and written my own music. I'm also master at karaoke - duet, anyone??
I'm a huge fan of books that have been turned into movies. I like to read the book and then watch the film to compare. Currently I'm reading "Devil In The White City" although I don't think it's a movie...yet :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- I was one of 300 people to see Elton John, Steven Tyler, and Andrea Bocelli perform at the Colosseum in Rome last September.
- I recorded a duet with Andrea Bocelli in his recording studio.
- I've traveled to over 40 cities/towns throughout Italy in the last 2 years.
- Ran the Providence, RI half marathon.
- Polar Bear Plunge (jumped into the Atlantic ocean at sunrise on January 1st. YES it was COLD)
- Moved in with a family in Italy knowing nobody here and not speaking a word of Italian
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to play the ukulele and make a mean grilled cheese sandwich. I'm also pretty good at getting people to do stuff outside their comfort zones. I'm willing to accept a new challenge if you are :)
I love to hear about people that have done something outside of the "norm" - if you've moved to a brand new country, explored new territory, witnessed a miracle, started your own business, lived in the woods - tell me all about it!
