Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been on the giving and receiving end of couch surfing for over 10 years. I love helping people in need, showing them around and getting to know them. On the flip side of that, I love visiting someone in their part of the world and getting the true local experience.

I'm pretty open minded when it comes to most things. With that said, I'm easily pleased. Food, people, nature...Everything else is just an added bonus.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled to Costa Rica with the intention of staying 3 weeks with my "friend." She left after a week. I stayed for 3 months and in Panama for 2 months. I didn't know anyone, barely spoke Spanish, and yet had the time of my life.
