Overview
About Me
New to Couchsurfing and excited to begin my journey! I am an American expat living and teaching English in Spain. I'm a positive and optimistic person who tries to see the best in everyone and everything. Above all, I try to keep an open mind and heart to new experiences no matter where life takes me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Life is too short to speak one language and stay in one place. I hope to meet new friends from all over the world during my time here in Europe. Although I am a new member, Couchsurfing means more to me than the opportunity to travel: it brings with it a whole new world of opportunities to experience a place with the people who know it best.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Walk the Moon, Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons, American Authors.
Movies: I love movie musicals - anything from the Sound of Music to Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Always open to new suggestions of any genre.
Books/writers: Oscar Wilde, Federico Garcia Lorca, Gillian Flynn, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Celeste Ng
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I graduated from university in only three years rather than the four it typically takes students in the U.S. A few months later, I moved to the other side of the world to a tiny village in southern Spain where I didn't know anybody - all to start a new adventure.
What I Can Share with Hosts
An open mind and willingness to try things outside my comfort zone. (I'm also a native English speaker and happy to help anyone practice!)
