CURRENT MISSION

I packed up my home life and job in Sept 13 to float on the breeze around the world . Recently returned to the UK and living out a childhood dream making ice cream and running an ice cream van!

I'm very excited, with a tinge of trepidation, for a new chapter in my life as I will be going to university to retrain in the nursing and therapy field. I'm proud to have raised the courage to embark on the challenge of studying again.

ABOUT ME

Living life with open eyes, an open mind and a sunshine personality.

I think travelling slowly and taking time to get into the heart and soul of a place is more important then ticking countries off a list and having passport stamp competitions. I have no itinerary other than meeting some wonderful and inspiring people and seeing what the world has to offer.

"Leave No Trace" It's been very eye opening seeing the damage we're inflicting on the world. I try to make a difference in my own little way, no chemicals, organic food and produce, recycle/upcycle etc. It flabbergasts me how people can be so unconscious of their actions against the environment.

I take great interest in current affairs. Our greedy and consumerist society disheartens me greatly and I feel very liberated to have my eyes open to it and to have stepped away. It's very encouraging to meet, communicate and share with like minded people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to using couch surfing, but I'm house-trained and a pretty good egg so I can promise I'd be a great addition to your home for a night.

I wish I could host but I live in a shared house so sadly it's not feasible, but I am always open to showing people around my home town. Spread the love!
