CURRENT MISSION
Meet our neighbors.
ABOUT ME
helloOo!
we are Brad + Lindsey Jo. we were married in January 2014 and currently live with our cat, Kitty (clever, huh?) in Akron, Ohio.
Brad works as a 10th grade history teacher and Lindsey Jo works from home as an artist and entrepreneur with the fair trade company, Trades of Hope. she also works as a part time yoga instructor. together, we are a couple of nerds who like to bike in the warmer weather and watch movies with wine when it's cold. Brad is a crafty maker of home brewed beers and Lindsey Jo is a maker of all things crafty at home.
we most enjoy cooking for friends and sharing stories with guests. sometimes, we play board games and smoke cigars like a couple of old folks in love. we love music too.
Lindsey Jo is an INFP, enneagram 4.
Brad is an ENFJ, enneagram 2.
If you know what this means, we are going to get along so great. If not, that's ok too.
PHILOSOPHY
"No, life cannot be understood flat on a page. It has to be lived; a person has to get out of his head, has to fall in love, has to memorize poems, has to jump off bridges into rivers, has to stand in an empty desert and whisper sonnets under his breath... We get one story, you and I, and one story alone. "-Donald Miller
we are committed to living in a perpetual state of wonder because we
believe the world is always full with the hope of newness.
we are committed to living life with eyes wide open because
we miss out if we don't pay attention.
we strongly support random, joyous, spontaneous dancing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lindsey Jo lived and worked in the Dominican Republic for several months in 2009 followed by a month-long West-coast exploration by train.
"I went up and down the California coast, sampled amazing red wines, took photos along highway one, watched the sunset on the beach, met new friends on an overnight ride, hiked half of the Grand Canyon in November, visited my uber-cool uncle in Taos, New Mexico, recovered a journal I left on a train in Arizona, participated in a hippie-jam band with strangers until 3am, visited the garden of the gods, hitchhiked a ride to Denver, finished an entire book in a week, got a free CD from a musician on the train, became forever inspired to see the world. It was the best thing ever!!!"
Brad has traveled to Hawaii to visit his Aunt and Uncle.
