CURRENT MISSION
Come on CouchSurfers...come see me!
ABOUT ME
I love where I live right now, cute little village where everybody says hello and smiles!
I'm very easy going and welcoming, my house is your house while you're staying with me and I'll surely cook you a meal at some point, I have a lot of good will to repay and send out some of my own on top!
I watch a lot of movies and like to go see live music as much as I can, I also like going out the odd weekend for a cocktail or two and a bit of a dance.
Cooking is how I relax and like to try new things; I have some great meals up my sleeve which I love to share!
PHILOSOPHY
Smile and the world smiles with you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I first started to Couchsurf with my ex in Australia. We were frustrated with the hostel experience because we were meeting the same people over and over again and not meeting any 'real' Australians. I haven't looked back since and I'm not exaggerating when I say that is has changed my life. I was astonished and delighted to have my faith restored in human beings as beautiful, interesting, giving, caring and genuine. We all have so much in common too!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies - my favourite Directors are Anthony Mighella, Jane Campion and Pedro Almodovar. For that reason I absolutely love Truly Madly Deeply, Bright Star & Volver. I also like a bit of Oz cinema too, Strictly Ballroom, Animal Kingdom & Muriel's Wedding. Oh my goodness, and John Candy is my childhood hero, Trains,Planes and Automobiles is my favourite film, actually loads from the 80's - Parenthood, Big, Brewster's Millions, Wizard, Rain Man....this could go on for a while!
Music - Nina Simone is by far my favourite musician ever! I love music from this era. I also have a lot of time for 90's Soul. Currently, I listen to Vampire Weekend, Naked and Famous, Bon Iver & Bombay Bicycle CLub. But it's a bit like my film interests, my taste is varied and sometimes a little embarassing, e.g. Take That(!)
