ABOUT ME

I love farming and hope to be a farmer myself one day. For now, I am confined to the city with my nose to the grindstone, paying off the god darnit education which I plan on not using anymore once I have fulfilled my financial obligations.
I'm interested in food politics, cooking and potlucks! I'm also obsessed with the radio. I would live in it if I could.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm open to meeting up with people who are exploring Newfoundland. We have a potential couch but a definite desire to help out travellers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any formal couchsurfing experience... yet!
I have met a lot of people through their travels before and have always tried to lend a hand.
We had a 6 piece band touring from Ontario stay at my house in St. John's during their tour. That was a lot of fun! :)

I've traveled a lot but my most enjoyable experience was living in an intentional community/biodynamic farm, Whole Village in nearby Caledon, Ontario.

I can knit and can teach beginnings but am interested in learning more,.
I can definitely give a few cooking lessons (but no snobby/fancy knife cutting techniques or where to keep your coffee etiquette please! That stuff drives me crazy.)
Am interested in learning and sharing in all things gardening.
