About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Work hard, play harder.
ABOUT ME
I spent most of my childhood in Louisiana and graduated from LSU in May 2011. Without much of a plan, I randomly applied to three different jobs in NYC, Seattle and Austin. Seattle was the first place to extend an offer - so here I am! I'd never visited the Pacific Northwest before, so I'm still very much new and spend a lot of time exploring.
My accent may not totally give me away, but I'm very much southern. The whole good manners, hospitality, drinking excessive amounts of sweet tea part, not the wildly conservative and generally close-minded part :) I'm also a fan of big hair. Don't judge.
PHILOSOPHY
"Never refuse an invitation, never resist the unfamiliar, never cease to be polite, and never outstay your welcome." â
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted a few times now and they have all been fabulous experiences. I also ended up serendipitously surfing (I stayed with friends of friends who happened to also be couch surfers) while on an exceptionally bad vacation, and that was even more awesome!
Interests
weekend adventures, concerts, getting lost, trying new things (at the moment, I have groupons for fire dancing and trapeze), overpriced drinks in coconuts, sleeping in airports, college football, acquiring a taste for beer (I'm a recovering cosmo drinker)
- concerts
- dancing
- beer
- drinking
- surfing
- soccer
Music, Movies, and Books
My friend Todd wrote a pretty cool song about me a few years back... I like it a lot :)

Aside from shameless self/friend promotion, I'm kind of lazy and listen to whatever my friends tell me to. So if you've got some awesome tunes on your playlist, send 'em on over!
