ABOUT ME

I'm a doctor, I swear!

Naw, I'm kidding. Despite the MD in my username, it stands for master designer... I wish. ANYWAY.

Despite my attempts to become a professional designer in the real world, a diploma just didn't seem to be enough... so back to school I went! I'm now working towards a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, which has opened my eyes to a more artistic way of thinking - a big change from my technical background!

Despite all this artsy-ness, it's just not quite enough. Sometimes you need inspiration... which is one thing travelling does for me! Hence my mission - the title of one of my art pieces I've been working on while on the road.

I'm currently on the adventure of a lifetime with my boyfriend, travelling (by the end of it) to 21 countries in a span of 111 days. I love all the adventure of travelling, seeing the sights, and experiencing the world... but I must say - I'm looking forward to having my own bed again!

Interests

As you can probably tell, I'm a pretty big nerd when it comes to art. While working on my degree, I've expanded my horizons to include not only graphics, but various forms of digital work - like video! When I'm not working on something, or busy busy with school itself, I like to go to galleries and view some of the greats. I'm a big surrealist fan, especially Dali!

Besides art, I enjoy hanging out with friends as most people do - and the boyfriend keeps me pretty busy too! My nerdiness does continue though as I'm a video game fan as well, from the old school Tetris to RPGs like Final Fantasy. If only I had enough time to play more!
