I am a 25-year old woman who lives in Copenhagen. I grew up in a very small village in Denmark. I love socializing, seeing alternative ways to live and experiencing new, beautiful places (mountains), which is of course why I joined Couchsurfing.

A couple of years ago, I took some time out of my schedule to NOT work in a career with full time hours and deadlines. I moved to Switzerland and got a relaxed part time job to support myself and spent these years in Switzerland traveling by train or bus to all the amazing areas in Mid- and Southern Europe.. My favorite way of traveling, is when I actually get to see the cities and areas from a real perspective in terms of life and culture. You don't get to see the real side of a city from going to the touristic landmarks, but by spending time with local people in their favorite areas. On top of that I am just an extremely social person, and I love sharing my travel experiences with other people. Therefore I joined Couchsurfing, and I met so many fun and cool people, so I would love to keep using it, now that I am back living in Denmark.

I read mostly self development books such as "Flow", "Drive", "Live More, Think Less (Danish)", "The Subtle Art of not giving a Fuck" but also love to read fictional Scandinavian crime stories or Harry Potter for example. I don't read that much though.. Mostly listen to music and watch movies.

Move abroad (Switzerland) for the first time without any job security or knowledge of Switzerland (on here, it may seem simple to many, but coming from a small village in Denmark, never really traveling much, this was a huge step for me)

I am a very good English and German speaker (Danish obviously as well), and I always love to share what I know!
I am good with sports such as football, handball and skiing and enjoy a lot to share these moments with others.
Event Management is my passion, and I would of course love to contribute as crew for events around Europe when I can.
