Overview
About Me
My boyfriend and I love to travel. In 2017 when we had our first daugther we feared our travelling life was over, but instead of staying buryied in diapers and baby-porridge, we now start a new chapter: Travelling with children. Therefore:
WE WOULD LOVE TO CONNECT WITH OTHER COUCHSURFING-FAMILIES who are up for a cultural exchange.
Since week days are busy we only host familys with same aproach to couchsurfing as we have:
We don't couchsurf just to safe money. We couchsurf as a "supplement" on our travels to get some unique experiences you can't find via Tripadvisor.
Preferable with children of same age as our daughter and only for a maximum of two days.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Those times I’ve met locals on my trips the travel experience has become much more interesting as I remember people better than I remember statues and museums.
By couchsurfing I hope I'll be making friends from other countries as I hope to see my guests again on their "home field" and I hope my hosts will have the opportunity to visit Denmark one day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the summer 2015 I did a 2 month leave from work and went to Australia and Fiji. 1 month with my boyfriend and 1 month without. The time away from work on the opposite side of the world and the time on my own was the most liberating thing I’ve done. Something I should I have done much earlier and hopefully can do again one day.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am ¼ German and I like to practice my German skills, so any Germans I meet can expect listening to a Danish version of German that they probably can’t understand. I am happy to teach Danish to anyone who wants to learn it – probably no one. Though I won’t promise not teaching you saying something inappropriately.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Our house is not fully equipped yet, so if staying overnight, you might have to bring some equipment, depending on the size of your family.
We have some old bikes you can borrow to go biking around Silkeborg. Silkeborg is known in Denmark for its lakes, forrest and creeks where you can rent canoes.
I can share our kitchen as I'd love to cook for you, as much as I'd like to taste the food of your home country.
Please write some details about your family, why you wan't to stay at our place or just meet up, and why you think we would have a great time together.
