ABOUT ME

My friends say that I know a lot of people, am fairly well-connected in the Chiang Mai expat community, am a great organizer/fund-raiser of fun events, am always ready to help and is fun to be with! Can usually be relied on for sensible advice or a witty comeback. :-) But can be sympathetic too when needed.
The last few years I have become more aware, learnt a lot about compassion, forgiveness, gratitude, acceptance, the nature of love and friendship, sustainability, the richness of life, the joy of living etc. (and no, this is not a description of a full-blown mid-life crisis... haha!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a newbie to Couch Surfing.

兴趣

I enjoy meeting and connecting with friends(strangers too!)and having great conversations. Great books, movies. My favourite sport is badminton, it really gets my adrenaline going! Most therapeutic activity is making jewellery.
Job-wise I market RFID technology, sell cross-cultural corporate programs, run a little business selling natural products and write free-lance (eg. on addiction issues, mental health). Yeah, kinda a Jill-of-all-trades, but ever thankful that I have the freedom to be so!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My first view of pristine Lake Tekapo in New Zealand's South Island as we came around the bend in the road.
Up in the Himalayan plateaus above the tree-line, a panoramic view of snow-capped mountains, desert plains and powerful rivers in deep canyons. I have a great photo of that!
The view of the island of Santorini in Greece as the ship approached the harbour.
