ABOUT ME

I am Anh Linh, an easy going and enthusiastic teacher of English living in Hue City, Viet Nam. I am just a young girl who are interested in trying new things through traveling. I have been to just two countries in South East Asia so I am always eager to travel more. My hobbies include reading, listening to some Vietnamese songs. Especially, I have a great passion for cosmetic and "make up".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't have the same purpose as most of the people joining Couchsurfing, I don't want to find a place to stay during the time I am traveling, I just want to find a "travel-mate" who can spend sometimes to go out with me, do sight-seeing and do some "culture-exchange". I just don't want to be alone in the amazing places I am going to travel to.

Interests

You may find it weird if I tell you I love cosmetic so much. I don't even know why but their effects and ingredients attract me a lot. I do research online about them and I have a Facebook page to write my review after trying them. I get allergic, sometimes but I take them as experiences. Moreover, I consider myself as an open and humorous person so making friends while traveling is what I like doing to make my trip more meaningful.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer Vietnamese music, you may think that I am not so open with other type but I do listen to them, too. However, I prefer the beat in Vietnamese songs and I think it is an interesting point to do culture-exchange between us. About book, I am interested in European novels and also some Chinese ones. I am teaching English so reading English novels is a good way for me to improve my skills and the Chinese ones are just easy to comprehend because my country and China have a lot of things in common.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling to Singapore is one of the greatest things I have done. Up to now, so long after I have been back, I still miss the days I was there a lot. I traveled there alone, by myself, after having found some friends who were willing to help on couchsurfing. However, we had a lot of wonderful memories together. It created my passion for traveling even alone to some more amazing countries with those wonderful native people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Vietnamese and Japanese and help you find the right kinds of cosmetic (if you need)
I will learn anything taught, about the countries I am visiting or about the people I am going out with. Just to make the time comfortable for them and create me some cultural awareness.
I can share with you my experiences and some of my personal stories if you would like to listen to them. Being open is the best way to get closer. I really want to keep the relationship between us after I go back

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will treat my "travel-mate" meals during our day as a big thank for them to spend time with me. Their time is precious, I know that so I will be really lucky to find a person who are willing to go around and talk with me. Moreover, I can share with them my own experiences about the areas they want to know (if I have)
