About Me

CURRENT MISSION

finding peace and joy in each day

ABOUT ME

I've been studying English at the University, and before that it was Spanish, what can I say - I like languages. I think a big part of traveling and getting to know other cultures is through language. Traveling has always been a big part of my life, and I really wish to keep it that way. That's the best way to get new experiences. When I can't travel myself it's nice to spend time with people traveling in Sweden!
I'm a very creative person, I try to spend a lot of time either writing, painting, working on my photograpy or making chocolate truffles (oh, yes, home made!). And I really do enjoy relaxing with a good book and a cup of tea!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm really trying to find the positive aspects of each day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Until I've got a proper apartment, I'm happy to meet up with travelers over a coffee or a walk around Stockholm. It's always fun to show people around and get to know other travelers.

Interests

When I say that chocolate is an interest of mine, I might have to explain ;) It's not about eating chocolate, it's the making of everything from truffles to cakes and chocolate bars that I really enjoy!
Besides making chocolate I spend time reading, walking, doing yoga and hanging out with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, it varies depending on what I'm doing and how I'm feeling. It can be anything from 60's rock to salsa.
I read quite a lot, and I like to dscover new books. But authors I enjoy are for example Isabell Allende, Aravind Adiga and Gabriel García Márquez.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On the top of my head; Iguazy Falls is one of the most beautiful places I've seen! But one of the most amazing things I've experienced was laying underneath the stars in the sand watching a huge turtle lay her eggs!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, since chocolate is a big part of my life, it's usually something I share with people. I can teach you have to make truffles or we can just enjoy a cup of coffee and a nice piece of chocolate! I can give you a proper chocolate tasting too :)
