Grew up in Hong Kong, and California in college years, I've met many good friends with mixed cultural backgrounds. As an Anthropologist, I cherish my own home culture and others, I hope to share my cultural heritage, and at the same time, learning of yours.

Hong Kong is my hometown and I wish to show you around if you're planning a time to know more about the history here. My ancestors were Tankas (boat people), one of the indigenous natives in Hong Kong. I could show you around in Aberdeen (a floating village in the past) and tell you a bit more about the history of the boat people in Aberdeen. You would be able to see the traditional Hong Kong living before modernization.

Intereses

Tanka have been assimilating to Han Chinese + Western mixed culture (as a British colony for around 150 years). As a Tanka, I've reached out to my grandparents and their friends, trying to preserve their own native traditions, and I would like to share with those who are interested to know more of the historical side of Hong Kong.
