Overview
About Me
I am a communication practitioner who is doing what I can do to support youth, and other communities in addressing environmental issues. I am interested and care about education, youth development, the environment, wellbeing and mental health.
I am not the kind of person who can sit still and be happy with a 9-5 job. I like to travel, meet new people and learn from new experiences, so I am on the way to becoming a full-time digital nomad. If I were a movie character, I would definitely be Kiki in Kiki’s Delivery Service or Moana as I am an adventurer who likes to do what excites and kindness is one of my core values.
You can find me being very true to my age (27), but sometimes can also meet the 15 or 22-year-old version of me as well. Maybe traveling keeps me young 😉
Don’t know why but I have a strong interest in Africa and want to do a backpacking trip there one day in the near future. Maybe its nature, the free spirit, and the rich culture there (particularly something about the dances, colors, patterns, languages), are the things that appeal to me. If you have the same dream, let’s do it together!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It’s simple. I like to travel in a way that enables me to expose the most to the local people and culture. And as I believe people on Couchsurfing are those who all like to visit places with the same motto, those who are open and have a lot to give and to share, so it’s like a to-go place to meet mind-like people and exchange knowledge, experience, guides, etc. and just simply have fun together.
I am also a person who likes to host, to have friends visit the house. So I am willing to pay it forward by giving whatever I can offer to this community.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to, watch and read a wide range of things.
On music, I have been to concerts of WINNER (a Korean pop band). I am into not only their music, but their personalities as well. If I have a chance to go to other concerts, I will definitely go to Coldplay or Hyukoh’s.
On movies, my most favorites are mostly cartoons, including Coco, Moana, Kiki’s Delivery service, Souls, and a bunch of Ghibli anime. I also enjoy documentaries on the earth and wildlife; some Korean/Japanese drama and some Western series.
On books, I like to read about religions, adventure, fiction series like Harry Potter, Eragon, Charlie Bones, etc. or something about the meaning of life like Tuesdays with Morries, Wonder, The faults in our stars, etc. Recently I am into books about trauma and relationships.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went to a remote island in the middle of the sea and lived there for a month during the windy season (as the only traveler there at that time) 😄
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always excited about learning new things, and willing to share whatever I know about anything.
I can definitely tell you about Vietnamese culture, including how to cook some Vietnamese dishes; mindfulness practices for busy people; how to be more green, etc.
