ABOUT ME

Hi! I am a 24 years old girl from the Czech Republic. At the moment living the dream in a beautiful town of Innsbruck where all your mountain adventures can come true. I obviously love hiking, skiing and love to try new sports during which I usually get in trouble (at the moment it is climbing and ski touring). I really enjoy traveling connected to camping and hitchhiking because it makes every trip so much more interesting .

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meet up with couchsurfers when I travel and of course if you write me in suitable time I will be more than happy to show you my city, go for a beer or join you for whatever cool you wanna do in Innsbruck!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far so good! Really it enabled me to discover some countries the way I would never discover just on my own. I started to use couchsurfing this summer (2014) and it totally changed my point of view on traveling, I am pretty sure I will use this cool website the rest of my traveling life and even when I am old and unable to do some cool stuff on my own I guess I will be willing to host people (well if they want to be hosted by an old grumpy lady, right? :D )

Interests

Traveling (anytime and anywhere, I just love being abroad, meeting new people and experience new adventures. I think I am kinda addicted to it and I have no intention to get rid of this addiction)
Skiing (I am actually pretty good at it, I am sure I could beat u whoever u are :P ) Hanging out with my friends (and keep in touch with them as many of them live abroad)

Movies: most of the movies with Tom Hanks and Luis de Funes, Eastern Promises, Cloud Atlas, Into the wild, Wild, Monster, Little miss Sunshine

Documentary films: Which way is the front line (really amazing story of one very special freelance photographer), Swedish theory of love, Syrian Love story...

Music: Bon Jovi, Metallica (went to concert of both, was great!)

Books: I am a member of this Harry Potter generation so that would be the book with which I grew up with and I gotta admit I still love reading it! Generally if you give me any book about Africa or Middle East, I will be a happy person. And the most hilarious book I have ever read is The Hundred-Year-Old man who climbed out the window and disappeared by Jonas Jonasson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent this winter in Kashmir working for a heliskiing company, that was definitely so far the most crazy adventure I randomly got myself into

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Czech (I know it sounds as a pretty unusable language but imagine how u impress all your friends if u know how to order beer in Czech). Also as I wish to impress my friends too I will be happy to practice new languages (German and Russian atm). I can share with you my wisdom and tips on food places in all countries I have ever been to. Also I could teach you how to ski and to some extent how to survive in the wilderness but I am sorta still struggling with that part myself sometimes haha

What I Can Share with Hosts

Of course my exquisite sense of humor, good traveling stories, Czech beer or any other Czech liquor according to your wish (Becherovka might be a good idea :D ). Well just meet me and we will see what else I can offer! Oh and a story of how I had to be saved by a helicopter when my ski magicly disappered on a glacier!
