Since birth, I've been a huge nerd who gets excited about science, video games and sleeping before 11pm. For my own sake, I've grown. True to my nature, I work in DNA Variant Analysis but in my free time I'm always looking for at least one of these things:

dumplings, crab legs, coffee, my dog Baloo, sunshine, backpacking treks, kayaking, soccer scrimmages, cast iron pans, pomegranates, red wine, cell phone, kindle, views, bicycle and more coffee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Consistently the most valuable gain from traveling around the world solo has been the friendships I've made. This is an amazing opportunity to meet locals and enjoy their perspective on the culture that surrounds them!

Living in San Francisco, I also love to "show off" the city. I get a lot of joy in helping someone find a piece of this city that they connect with. It's a privilege to join a community where we all share this spirit!
