Sobre Mim
I'm a currently a college student in Finance and Accounting at The University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I'm originally from Vietnam.
I'm just trying to do my best at school and explore the world at the same time.
Finance and Accounting sounds like a lot of numbers and money, which to me, bring a lot of headaches.
I enjoy artistic things. Playing music, mostly classical, is a big part of my life. I love taking pictures and being taken pictures :). Writing is what I do almost everyday. It helps me tidy up my thoughts.
My philosophy is simple. I believe in "Everything happens for a reason. And it will continue to happen again and again, until you learn the lesson."
My motto is "Keep Moving Forward" from "Meet the Robinsons" movie by Disney.
I try to live my life as Erma Bombeck once said: "When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me."
Por que estou no Couchsurfing?
I am not a wanderlust but I do want to travel, cos' who doesn't? I want to see more of the world, and tell people what I've known.

I first wanted to be an astronaut when I was 6. But it still seems unfeasible now, so I turned it into an hobby. I have a telescope and it's just great! I use it whenever there is a major astronomy event, or maybe when I'm bored, on a bright-moon night.
I enjoy being alone a lot, talking to myself, talking to the stars, and trees, and flowers around me.
I write a lot, mostly diary-like. I make poems sometimes, when I feel like to, in Vietnamese and English. I'm trying to make one in Chinese. I cannot draw at all and my violin skill is not that great, nor the photography one. So writing is the most straightforward way to me, to tell myself to the outside. It doesn't mean for another to read. But it's to help bring my sub-consciousness to the surface, to help prevent a turmoil and then an explosion in me.
I love the ancient Chinese & Japanese culture and poems. It's also the reason I'm trying to learn the two languages. I love how they use all kinds of idioms and metaphors to talk about the world, beauty, and love, and so much more.
One of the page I enjoy reading on Facebook is "berlin-artparasite". They have cool pictures and the style of writing that I like.

I love Howl's moving castle, and all other Ghibli movies! All of them!!! I'm still working on playing those wonderful pieces.
I love reading manga and world's classics like Pride & Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, 20000 leagues under the sea, etc. But my favorite book would probably be Howl's moving castle as well.
I'm not that up-to-date like a normal one for my age. I listen to classical music. Schubert's Ave Maria has been my ringtone for at least 7 years. I listen to Westlife, Backstreet boys, Boyzone and some others.
Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz
I used to be street violin player in Vietnam. I played in the city's only square every weekend night and during Tet holiday (our lunar new year). For that, I got to be in an article of one of the two major newspaper in Vietnam (bao tuoitre). I was 14 at the time. After that, I appeared in many other articles of the local newspaper (bao baria-vungtau) and the Vietsopetro news as well, even in their special New Year edition.
We are the very first street group in Vietnam, and we got certified for that.
After that I played music for weddings in hotels and campaigns like Earth Hour, Clean up the world to call upon everyone to keep our beach and city green.

I can teach you Vietnamese, talk to you about Asian cultures.
I enjoy sharing musical experience and love playing instruments with other people.
I can try to make Vietnamese dishes if you like, but warning: I am not a good cook, but will for sure try my best!
We can talk about food too! ^^

I like order and cleanliness. So I am very happy to help you clean the house, especially the kitchen. I definitely won't mess your house up.
I'm not a party animal so you don't have to worry about me making the house smelling like alcohol or drug (and I'm not 21 yet, so absolutely no!).
I can be very quiet or super talkative depends on how you want it. I won't make noise and I can go to bed and wake up early if you require so as well.
