About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Have fun and explore new things.

ABOUT ME

I am a laid back, open-minded person who enjoys hanging out with friends but can also appreciate alone time. I love to travel and meet new people and I'd love to meet you! I studied archaeology and enjoy my position at my local museum. I love to travel because when you're in a new place even small things like cooking or going to the post office become adventures where you can experience something entirely new.

PHILOSOPHY

Never stop learning. Never stop trying new things.

Interests

My hobbies include reading, writing, studying bones, collecting strange things and long distance walking. When I'm with friends I like to go for walks, have tea/coffee, play madlibs or backgammon and watch funny shows. At night I like to go out to chill bars, nothing too ritzy, and sometimes go see a band.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, I like a little bit of everything. My favorite book is Sometimes a Great Notion by Ken Kesey. Lately I haven't watched to many movies. I tend to watch more TV series instead because you can get to know the characters better.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time I forgot my purse on a public bench in Guadalajara and an extremely old man who could barely walk, even with his cane, chased me all the way across the plaza to bring it too me. An amazing act of kindness from a stranger.

Climbing to the top of Corkscrew Peak in Death Valley National Park, USA and getting to look out across the whole valley. It was amazing to see all of the places I went to everyday from high above and realize how small they all were!

Teach, Learn, Share

Did you know that the mantis is the only insect that can turn its head 180 degrees?
