About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see a new part of the world each year
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a small town in Massachusetts. I have an excellent sense of humor and I love to laugh. I'm always willing to meet new people. Traveling has taught me to make the best of of any situation and that a little generoisity goes a long way. I learned about my passion for traveling after I went to Italy in 2007.
I studied French for 5 years in high school. I love to learn new languages. I lived with a French family near Paris during January 2008 to teach them English. It was an unforgettable experience.
During the summer of 2008, I travelled to Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Italy and Poland. I backpacked for 10 weeks, traveling by train and staying in hostels. I visited the family in France again for a week. The whole trip was an amazing experience and I cannot wait to return to Europe!
PHILOSOPHY
"Sometimes you need to do what is funnier"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm willing to host anyone who will be in my area - depending on my schedule. Weekends are best. Boston is a fun place to visit. Plenty of microbreweries in the area :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I traveled to Japan in May of 2009 and stayed with a couchsurfer in Tokyo. It was a great to be able to learn about a new culture from a local. It was the most insightful part of my trip.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a variety of music from different genres. I really like classic rock, traditional Irish music, classical music, dance music, 80's music etc..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Swiss Alps. Last summer I went to Gimmelwald in Switzerland and it was one of the most amazing places I have ever seen. There is no comparison to being up in the mountains where the only thing you can hear is the sound of melting glacial water and the only thing you can see is snow-capped mountain tops.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have really enjoyed meeting people from around the globe at hostels. It is very interesting to learn about their country and tell them about mine over a few drinks.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
Countries I’ve Lived In
France, United States
