Overview
About Me
I’m a Swedish 27 year old woman who has had Norway as a base for the last 4 years - meaning in between long term travels and season work. For the last 2 years I have been studying my bachelor in . When my third and last year of my BA started, I got an opportunity to study in Beijing. And who am I to say no to such adventures? So since the beginning of September 2019, i see Beijing as my temporary, yet loveable, hometown. Beijing and China treats me well and I hope to be able to live in China for some years when my school is over. During my time in China, I want to travel within the mainland as much as possible, since it’s soooo much to see and experience here. And would like to meet up with likeminded people. Earlier on, I have been a host for travelers in Norway, and I’m excited to surf my way around China. I love the vision about couch surfing, the bring the people of the world around the world to exchange, learn, crush stereotypes and inspire alternative ways to live. This is also why I put some extra work to be able to travel and planning for a sustainable travel lifestyle. I’m happy to learn all about your culture, music, traditions and history. And as I am a Scandinavian in many ways (except the introvert personality) we can have conversations about Scandinavia from a various angles. I'm a person person - everyone have a story to tell, different views of life, and that's the beauty in the humankind. I believe that communication and travel can cure a lot of evilness, racism and diversities we face on our globe. I enjoy these conversations over a bottle of wine in the park ), a coffee or during a casual walk in the city or in the nature. I love eating food and I like making food. But nothing melts my heart more than food from foreign land. I'm a freelance journalist as profession, and a third year journalist student. I am in particularity interested in constructive journalism, foreigner journalism and new media. I’m very passionate about these topics and could talk about it for hours. Ambitions are high, dreams are many and everything will be fulfilled within time. And I love to share dreams and get inspirations from others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I surf because: even though I love to travel by myself - it's the people that does it. That's why I think couch surfing is a great way to save money, meet locals, see off-beaten-track places and exchange experiences.
I host to get an opportunity to bring the world to me. And also to help people to see the world, even with a small budget.

Music, Movies, and Books
My heart is beating for music in general but hip hop in particular. Also just found out afrobeat. So that’s what usually fills my ears. Music is happiness. And happiness is music. Speaking of music, I have a music tattoo on my body. It’s a tribute to my parents because without music they would never meet and I would never exist. Ask me and I can tell you all about it.
