We had multiple couchsurfers staying in our former collective and also used it when I travelled through Australia and some parts of Europe. So far I've only had good experiences!

It's a wonderful way to support something that's otherwise missing in our society. I'm convinced that doing favors and trusting each other can increase the level of solidarity. It's always a pleasant reminder to see how most people are very kind-hearted, we need that.

I'd like to say that I know stuff about permaculture and sustainable living. And I do, in theory. But i haven't practiced it enough to know stuff by heart. So I tend to mostly guess my way through those kind of conversations.
