ABOUT ME

I am 25 years old and i have my own house! that is full of dogs...two pugs and a great dane at the moment. I teach biology and chemistry to high schoolers and it's a pretty awesome job. I decided i would never work in an office or during the summer (so i could travel) so this works for me. I love knowing things, and i love having awesome conversations on anything (whether it is the usefulness of electron configurations or debating the use of flying butresses on european cathedrals)...so teaching is right up my alley. i lived in australia for a while and instead of quenching my thirst for travel as my parents hoped, it only made me want to go everywhere i possibly could. next on my list is italy, hopefully...teaching and waitressing arent exactly known for their amazing salaries...which is why im joining the site...to go places on a budget, as well as to meet ridiculously awesome people. anyone who lets strangers stay over has to have a similar sense of adventure, no?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i cannot host at the moment, however, i would be glad to show anyone around the area while on their travels...i have a really flexible schedule and so if youre ever bumming around western mass i can show you around! i even have practice as a university tour guide! not that i'll need to walk backwards...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have yet to have a couchsurfing experience based on the site...though i HAVE slept on many a couch, futon, floor etc.
