ABOUT ME

So Cal native, now in the Bay Area. I’ve lived on the east coast as well as abroad. Goes without saying that travel is a passion of mine - that’s why we’re here right?

I can be a bit introverted but love to have fun, whether that’s working out, beach bumming, nerding out, or enjoying craft beer. I also enjoy photography and being the subject of photos. If time permits I can show you around the area, join for dinner/drinks/etc. I often work a lot, so hoping to meet fantastic new people to bring me back down to earth :)

If you’re wanting to stay with me, know that I expect some interaction; I’d be happy to show you around if I have time. If not, I may not say yes to hosting. But - I do not want surfer(s) that come and go without any words exchanged. I’m not expecting bffs but also not just a free bed! (Same goes for me when I surf!)

I lived in Korea for a brief amount of time doing research a few years ago. Most amazing experience of my life.

My expertise is the brain, so I get excited by most things science-related. As far as useful/practical life lessons? Those come sporadically. You just have to be there to see them ;)
