Who am I? I am freckly, funny, fabulous.
Ok maybe mostly funny.. But I love meeting new friends, chilling, sharing a beer, watching light and colors change due to location or time, having a laugh, percieving the world through weird glasses, eating delicious breakfast, finding a crummy hut on a beach luxurious and sometimes just enjoying these experences silenlty in the company of others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To balance out the feeling of the world being a bad place. Communities like couchsurfing and the openhearted spirit of people I have met when travelling makes the world feel like a fantastic place to be!

I think we should run the world more like couch surfing. Just open our arms to each other, build new relationships, help each other, stick together, mix all kinds of people from all kinds of cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The atmosphere at the 21st World Scout Jamboree in Hyland Park, UK in 2007 was a pretty amazing thing to experience and be a part of. Almost 40,000 people from all over the world lived together for 10 days. You could meet people from 20 different countries in a day - all united in the philosophy that you help anyone who might need a hand - and in return you get a new friend. This many years later I still remember the feeling like it happened yesterday.
