ABOUT ME

Hey! I'm Linnea, I was born in a small town in Illinois called Dekalb, I moved to Rockford IL when I was 12, I live fairly close to Chicago so I go into the city a lot on weekends. I love to meet new people and travel, laugh and go on random adventures. I work during the week at a womens clinic as a medical assistant and try to keep my weekends open for day trips, hanging out with friends, going out for a drink, seeing family, being outside,seeing movies, going to concerts or just staying in and playing with my dog. I love to laugh and have a random, wild, and sometimes weird sense of humor and can make pretty much anyone laugh and always appreciate that in other people as well.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im planning an unplanned trip to Sweden late 2013 or spring 2014, lol basically Im going to Sweden but wont have much of a plan as to what im seeing and doing until I get there, Im looking for people to get to know a little before I get there to maybe crash on their couch (I keep my stuff picked up, I love to meet new people, go on adventures, and I can cook :) lol. I can also possibly host, just send me a message and if I'm available we can work something out, and if your interested I can show you around my town or we can go into Chicago.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to couch surf from this website, I'm really hoping to be able to do more surfing soon in Sweden:) but I've done a fair share of random road trips where I've ended up just crashing on friends couches and such.

Interests

I love love love music, traveling, new people, different cultures, movies, taking pictures, animals, concerts, cooking, art, museums, snorkeling, laughing, driving, plus a bunch of other random stuff.

As far as music, i tend to like 90's type music, and some random old music, i adore the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, old No Doubt, Sister Hazel, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, Gin Blossoms The Kinks, The Proclaimers, Death Cab For Cutie, Fun, The Neon Trees, Placebo, Sublime, Buddy Holly, Cat Stevens, The Cardigans, The Smiths, Hot Hot Heat, The Luminears, Oasis, Incubus, ummmmm a bunch more I'm forgetting. I like a ton of movies, from comedies, to dramas, to random zombie movies, lol.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once me and a friend randomly decided to drive halfway across the country to NYC to visit another friend, we did this only to stay 8 hours to visit, hang out, and see an independent film, then drove across the country back home, totally on a whim, no real plans, it was an exhausting but amazing trip.
