Who am i?

I'm an active and easy going person, I want to understand the world I live in and see new perspectives on it. Everything doesn't have to be like always.

I travel and host to broaden my perspectives, to learn and to challenge myself.

I have a Swedish, and partly Finnish heart with a piece left in Mexico and one piece in Czech republic.

If i travel somewhere I don't leave without some words of the new language on a piece of paper and I'd love to learn some of yours, if only the basic basic. And i'd love to help you with your Swedish or Spanish if I can :)

PHILOSOPHY

Why not? I like to seize opportunities that might never come again,being spontaneous when I can and plan a long time ahead when it comes to other things.

In other words... I always want to try. Try to not say no.

Though, if you want to stay at our place, write at least a week in advance!! We need to plan ahead.

I love food, but i have celiac disease. It means I cannot eat gluten, which is found in wheat, rye and barley, I can bring my own food, I am happy to help in cooking and can answer your questions about it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, the best times i've had were spent travelling, talking, discussing and relaxing with others. I've learnt about so many things and i'd love to show you how I live.

I also like traveling, meeting people rather than looking at statues. I want to know something about people, culture and history, ways of thinking, and reading books is not my way of finding that. Though, if there is a castle i must see it...

- Dinner at the brink of Lake Balaton, biking around Vienna and having beer in a garage in Zagreb, the things I will never forget.

Interests

Language is my passion! Some people watch ice hockey, some collect stamps and i dedicate my time for languages.

At heart i'm a scout, and dedicate a lot of time to the Scout organisation in Sweden, both as a leader for a youth group and as a chairman of the national board. I belive in young people and our ability to change society!

I spend a lot of time at my job, and when not i like to read, to to the theater of cinema, spend time with friends and my gildfriend (soon to be wife!).

When it comes to movies and series I have many favourites but right now i'm stuck on Fight Club, My Neighbour Totoro, Orange is the New Black, and pretty much anything in Czech. It's quite a mix...(Those old Czech fairy tales are the best i've ever seen. Best one so far is Arabela :)

I also like Swedish movies and Swedish pop music that will always hold a place in my heart. Laleh and Säkert! is on the top of my list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Almost got lost in the hills of Faraoe Islands, have sat around a campfire in Czech republic and been down in the prisoners tower of my dear castle in Kalmar.
