ABOUT ME

I am married to Nicholas and we have two kids (a three-year-old and a seven-month-old). We are spending a couple months in the New York area (where my husband is from) in winter 2018, and I would love to get in touch with other families so that our oldest child could get some play mates.
About me: I like people who don’t take themselves to seriously. I am a journalist. In my free time I enjoy having nice food with my friends, playing violin, gardening and writing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like meeting people with other experiences than my own, that's why I joined CS. Since I can't go travelling as often as I'd like to, this is a way of having this pleasure at home, by hosting surfers. I'm always up for a coffee or a drink if I don't happen to be busy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm eager to show my city and my country to those who are interested. I've travelled a lot in Sweden and would be happy to share my knowledge of its secret jewels. That's also what I hope to get from hosts when I go to other countries.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: lots of Swedish writers that most people probably never have heard of. Other favorites: for example Doris Lessing. And right now Lionel Shriver. One of my all time favorites is still Anne of Green Gables but from different reasons than when I was 10.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can whistle in my throat but have never managed to teach someone else to do it. I can, however, teach you the basics of beat boxing.
