ABOUT ME

Hey there:)
I'll try to tell you a little about me but the easiest way to get to know me would just be to meet me!

I'm a happy person and I love a good laugh. I often quote movies and songs. In fact, I associate almost everything with a song or a movie! I like sports, hanging out with my friends and making new ones.

I like to try new things and see new and different places but I also really enjoy revisiting places where I have already been to go deeper. When I travel I want to feel the city, smell it and BE it. Wherever I lay my hat, that's my home.

If I had it my way I would travel the world and meet new people and experience different cultures FOREVER!! As it is now, I work here in Gbg and travel whenever I get the opportunity. I just applied to Med School here in Göteborg and will start my studies after Christmas. After finishing my studies, i would very much like to work for Doctors Without Borders.

I like food, all aspects of food, and I like to cook and bake. I believe in honesty and I like to think that I am open-minded, but then that's something you have to work with continuously. I am stubborn in a good way and I love adventures and games and challenges.

I don't smoke and I work out pretty much every day (as in 6 days a week)if possible. If necessary when abroad, I think of clubbing (which for me always includes a whole lot of dancing) as "work-out". No but seriously, I really like to run. If the weather and the time of the day allow it, one of the first things I do when I come to a new place is to go for a run to feel it out.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live with my parents and my sister and unfortunately, I cannot host. I have been out travelling a lot the past two years and now I'm trying my hardest to find my own apartment here in Göteborg but it's not easy and it's not inexpensive. However, if you want to have tea, coffee (I'll still have tea..), a drink, a good time, a guided tour of Göteborg or if you just want to meet and hang out, send me a message!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have only surfed once in Rome for real and I really enjoyed it and will try it again asap. And hopefully be able to host in a not too long time.. CS is a truly awesome community with such interesting people and it is by far the best way to discover the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a total sucker for Disney movies (The Lion King is my favorite) and I also like heroic movies like Gladiator, Batman and The Last Samurai. And the new Karate Kid movie. Gotta love the underdog striking back. Absolutely LOVE the Dark Knight. I also really like She's the Man and Wild Child. Really,the mood I'm in matters a lot when I decide which movie to watch. Action always work but just now I was re-watching 10 things I hate about you for the gazillionth time.

Regarding music: I will listen to anything and like it or at least be able to appreciate it as long as it has a melody!

Books: I love books, the smell of them and how they feel when they're new and you open them and the way they feel when they're old and you open them. Books should be loved. I'll read anything that captures my interest. Right now, I'm reading Eat Love Pray.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got a full scholarship for one year at Villanova University to experience the American culture. That was totally amazingly awesome!

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak five languages from perfectly to fairly well and I'll teach anyone who's interested!

I want to learn new languages and improve the ones I already know. At the moment, I'm trying to learn Turkish. Spanish, Japanese, Greek, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Persian, Swahili.. I wanna learn'em all!
